Maryland Express Services LLC (“we,” “us”) is a private tag and title service in Reisterstown, Maryland. We are not a government office and are not affiliated with the Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA). Information we collect
When you use our contact form. Our contact form asks for your name, email address, phone number, the service you need, and a message. We use this only to reply to you.
When you do a transaction with us. To process tag, title, and registration work, you may give us information by phone, text, WhatsApp, email, or in our office. This can include your name, address, driver’s license or ID, vehicle title, VIN, insurance details, lien information, and payment details. We use this information to complete your transaction and to meet MVA requirements, and for nothing else. We take payments in our office through Square; our website does not take payments.
When you contact us directly. If you call, text, message us on WhatsApp, or email us, we receive your phone number or email address and whatever you choose to send.
Website analytics and cookies
We use a few tools to understand how visitors use our website so we can improve it:
- Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Site Kit and Google Tag Manager. It uses cookies to count visits and see which pages are viewed, about how long, and from what kind of device and general area.
- Microsoft Clarity, which shows us how visitors scroll and click on pages, in summary and in recorded sessions, so we can spot confusing pages. Sensitive information is masked.
- Button click tracking. When you tap a button to call us, text us, open WhatsApp, get directions, leave a review, book an appointment, or contact us, we record that the button was tapped and on which page. We do not see the content of your call or message through this tracking.

How we use information
We use information to:
- answer your questions and give quotes;
- process your tag, title, and registration transactions;
- keep the records the law and MVA rules require;
- improve our website and services; and
- protect against fraud and misuse.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:
- with the Maryland MVA and related government agencies, as needed to complete your transaction;
- with service providers that help us run our business and website, such as web hosting, email, analytics (Google and Microsoft), and in-office payment processing (Square), who may use it only to provide those services; and
- when the law requires it, such as in response to a valid legal request, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
How long we keep information
We keep transaction records for as long as the law and MVA rules require. Contact form messages and texts are kept as long as needed to help you and for normal business records. Google Analytics data is kept according to our Google Analytics data retention setting. Clarity data is kept according to Microsoft’s retention terms.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including limiting who can see customer records and using secure connections on our website. No website or storage method is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please avoid sending sensitive documents, such as full ID scans, through the website contact form.
Children
Our website and services are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your choices
- Analytics: You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Blocking cookies may not affect how our website works for you.
- Access and corrections: You can contact us to ask what information we hold about you, or to correct or delete it, unless we are required to keep it.
- Messages: You can ask us to stop texting or emailing you at any time.
Links to other websites
Our site links to other websites, such as the Maryland MVA, Google Maps, and review sites. Their privacy practices are their own, and we encourage you to read their policies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
